CHRYSA MATSAGANI Art & Culture Communication Manager/Producer
She was born and studied in Athens (Graduate of EKPA). She has been working professionally in the field of art and culture communication and public relations since 2010. She is a founding member and co-owner of the nonprofit cultural company, Act for Art, which is set on production, design and execute various cultural projects and the ImProva, art place, located in Votanikos, which hosts rehearsals for plays, movies and dance performances, shootings, seminars, courses and workshops. She started her career as a director at the Central Bookstore of Papasotiriou and Pataki (in the latter as a purchasing manager) and then got in the field of Communication / Public Relations. In 2010, she started working as a Public Relation Manager for the Brainfood Group (Oxy Publications, Opus Magnum, Experience Publishing, Avopolis Magazine etc.). For the last ten years she has been working as a PR manager with several renowned directors and theater groups for more than 150 theatrical performances. She has also worked for important Festivals such as the "Gender Equality Festival" produced by the General Secretariat for Equality, the International Short Film Festival "Micro μ Festival", "Love your Local Market" produced by the Central Market’s and Fisherie’s Organization and many more, but also for concerts, and bands. Being a founding member of the artistic group Astrolab, she has produced two large and lots of smaller "Jazz & World Festivals" in Athens. From 2013 to 2018 she has also worked at the Radio Station, 105.5 In Kokkino, at first, in public relations and then, in the artistic design, direction and production of all the cultural activities and events of the station.
